I had to laugh the other day when my Mom & I were eating out and I saw some chopsticks that where available, along with the silverware at the restaurant. My son wasn’t with us but, he LOVES eating with chopsticks.
He tells me he likes eating with chopsticks because they are more articulate, and it’s uncivilized to stab and jab at our food with forks and knives. (Sometimes it’s just easier to go with it. It’s very difficult to argue with someone who has Aspergers). I’ll use chopsticks if I’m in an Asian restaurant, and I would say it allows me to slow down and enjoy my food more. Especially since I haven’t mastered them as well as my son.
He has numerous pairs of chopsticks. He’s gotten them from the Chinese take out places, Epcot, and even the place that sells noodle dishes.
